SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Citadel scored 14 points in the fourth quarter, including the game-winning touchdown with 26 seconds remaining to defeat Wofford, 28-24, Saturday afternoon inside Gibbs Stadium.

How it Happened
- The Terriers got on the board late in the first quarter as Garrison Moore caught a 26-yard touchdown pass.
- The lead grew to 10-0 as Wofford connected on a 43-yard field goal in the second quarter.
- The Bulldogs finally got on the board with 6:24 left in the second quarter when Clay Harris capped a seven-play drive with a two-yard touchdown run.
- The Terriers closed out the half with a touchdown run from Peyton Derrick.
- The lead would grow to 24-7 for Wofford as they drove down the field on the opening kickoff of the second half and scored on a 16-yard run from Nathan Walker.
- The Bulldogs would take advantage of an interception from Javonte Middleton to get back on the scoreboard late in the third quarter.
- The Citadel took advantage of the turnover and scored eight plays later when Sam Llewellyn took the pitch around the left side and pinballed his way into the end zone.
- After a Bulldog fumble on its next possession, the defense bowed its neck and forced a punt.
- The offense responded with a 45-yard burst up the middle from Clay Harris, and followed it up with a 23-yard touchdown pass from Jaylan Adams to Cole Owens to make it a three-point game.
