• The Chanticleers got on the board on their opening possession as they needed just five plays to march down the field and score on a two-yard touchdown run from Shermari Jones.
• CCU added to the lead early in the second quarter on a four-yard touchdown run from Reese White.
• White scored his second touchdown midway through the second quarter on a 16-yard run.
• The Chants found the end zone through the air late in the first half when Grayson McCall hit Jaivon Heiligh for a 30-yard touchdown.
• CCU closed out the first half with a 34-yard field goal from Massimo Biscardi.
• The second half opened with Jones breaking free for a 37-yard touchdown.
• The Bulldogs answered back on their opening possession of the second half with a 13-play drive that covered 65 yards and ended with a one-yard touchdown run from Nathan Storch.
• The Chants scored for the second time in the second half on a 49-yard touchdown pass from Bryce Carpenter to Xavier Gravette.
• Darique Hampton led the Bulldogs on another 13-play drive in the fourth quarter that ended with Raleigh Webb scoring from eight yards out on a reverse.
• CCU closed out the scoring with a four-yard touchdown run from Braydon Bennett.
