  • The game is the 77th meeting between the two schools with The Citadel holding a 42-32-2 advatange in the all-time series. VMI has won the last two meetings after the Bulldogs had won the previous 12 meetings.
  • The Citadel rushed for a season-high five touchdowns in their last game against North Greenville. B-Back Nathan Storch led the way with a pair of touchdown runs in the first half.
  • Wide receiver Raleigh Webb caught a touchdown pass in the first quarter and rushed for a touchdown in the second quarter. He is the first Bulldog with a rushing and receiving touchdown in a game since Sept. 16, 2017 against ETSU, also accomplished by Webb.
  • The 72-yard TD reception by Raleigh Webb was his fifth career touchdown of over 70 yards. He has caught those passes from three different quarterbacks.
  • The Bulldog defense did not allow a touchdown against North Greenville. It was the first time since the VMI game on Oct. 28, 2017 that the Bulldog defense did not allow a touchdown.
  • Defensive back Destin Mack returned an interception 92 yards. The return ties for the second longest interception return in program history. It equals the return by Brandon McCladdie against Wofford in 2013.
  • Kicker Colby Kintner connected on his first field goal of the season against North Greenville. The sophomore hit from 37 yards out in the third quarter.

0 - The Bulldog defense did not allow a touchdown in the victory over North Greenville. It is the first time the defense held its opponent out of the end zone since Oct. 28, 2017 against VMI.
5 - The Citadel offense rushed for five touchdowns in the victory over North Greenville. It is the first time the Bulldogs rushed for five touchdowns in a game since the four overtime game at Samford on Sept. 28, 2019.
72 - The 72-yard touchdown reception by Raleigh Webb marked the fifth time in his career that he has caught a touchdown pass of at least 72 yards. He has caught those five passes from three different quarterbacks.
77 - Saturday's game is the 77th edition of the Military Classic of the South. The Citadel holds a 42-32-2 advantage in the series.
92 - Cornerback Destin Mack returned an interception 92 yards against North Greenville. The return ties for the second longest interception return in program history, equaling the mark of Brandon McCladdie against Wofford in 2013.
