COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Citadel's Sam Sharnas set the schoole record in the 5,000-meters on Day 2 of the South Carolina Invitational.

Men's Results
- Junior Sam Sharnas ran a 14:47.39 in the 5,000-meters to establish a new school record. The time best the old record of 14:56.02 set by Kyle Keene in 2012.
- Prince Moody cleared 6-02.75 in the high jump to finish fourth.
- Prince Howard-Whitaker continued his strong weekend as he threw 51-05.50 to finish 6th in the weigh throw.
- Howard-Whitaker finished 9th in the shot put on Friday.
- Stephen Kraeling took 8th place in the high jump. His leap of 6-5.5 is a personal record and ranks 9th on the school's all-time list.
Women's Results
- Heidi Fortin finished 7th in the 5,000-meters with a time of 18:59.44
