Inside The Numbers
 2 - The Bulldogs have a pair of players on the current roster who spent their previous time playing at Wofford. Quarterback Peyton Derrick and linebacker Rett Russell came to Charleston from Spartanburg.
3.0 - Linebacker Hasan Black finished the game against Furman with 3.0 tackles-for-loss, including his second sack of the season. He also totaled nine tackles, including five solo stops.  
18 - The Bulldogs put together an 18-play scoring drive in the second quarter against Furman. It marked the second 18-play drive for the Bulldogs this season after also having an 18-play drive against Mercer.
76 - Saturday's game against Wofford is the 76th all-time meeting between the two schools. The Citadel holds a 44-30-1 advantage in the series.
169 - Quarterback Ahmad Green threw for 169 yards against Furman. The 169 yards are the most for a Bulldog signal caller since Brandon Rainey threw for 233 yards against Samford in 2019.

The Game
The Citadel hits the road for the first of two-straight games as the Bulldogs travel to take on Wofford on Oct. 15. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. from Gibbs Stadium.

The early forecast is calling for temperatures in the upper-60s during the day with plenty of sunshine.


vs. Wofford
Saturday's game marks the 76th all-time meeting with the Bulldogs holding a 44-30-1 advantage in the series. The Citadel has won each of the last two meetings after dropping the previous four.


Last Year Against Wofford
In one of the most exciting games of the season, Dominick Poole broke up a pass on a two-point conversion in overtime to give the Bulldogs a 45-44 victory over the Terries. Interestingly, the quarterback who threw the pass is current Bulldog signal caller Peyton Derrick.


Pair of Bulldogs Returning to Wofford
Saturday's game marks a homecoming for a pair of Bulldogs who played transferred from Wofford. Quarterback Peyton Derrick and linebacker Rett Russell graduate transferred to The Citadel from Wofford.


Long Drives
The Bulldog offense has put together several long drives this season. The offense has five drives that have taken more than eight minutes, including a pair of drives eating up more than 11 minutes of clock. They have also put together seven drives of at least 11 plays, including an 18-play drive against Furman.


Fourth-Most Passing Yards in 1st Start
Redshirt freshman quarterback Ahmad Green threw for 169 yards in his first career start against Furman. The total is the fourth highest total dating back to 1971.

Conway Catches 1st TD
Graduate transfer Ricky Conway caught his first career touchdown pass as a Bulldog as he hauled in a 26-yard pass in the fourth quarter against Furman. Conway currently leads the team with nine catches for 102 yards.


Both Corners With a Pick
The Citadel starting cornerbacks Dominick Poole and Destin Mack each registered interceptions in the first half against Furman. It marked the second time the duo has each picked off a pass in the same game. They also each hand an interception to secure a victory over Chattanooga last season.


TD Pass in First Career Start
Ahmad Green threw a touchdown pass in his first career start against Furman. He is the second signal caller to throw a TD in his first start as a Bulldog this season. Peyton Derrick threw a TD pass against Campbell in the season opener.
