SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Citadel put up a season-high 402 yards of offense, but it was not enough as the Bulldogs fell, 31-16, at Wofford Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened
- Wofford got on the board on the opening drive as Dylan Djete took the end around for a 13-yard touchdown.
- The Citadel answered back early in the second quarter as Cooper Wallace went up the middle for a 56-yard touchdown run.
- The Terriers regained the lead on a 41-yard field goal from Bridger Jones.
- Wofford took advantage of a Bulldog turnover late in the second quarter to get a touchdown pass from Jimmy Weirick to Devin Mathews.
- The Terriers closed out the first half with a 29-yard touchdown pass from Weirick to RJ Khayo.
- Wofford opened the scoring in the second half with a 56-yard touchdown pass from Weirick to Landon Parker.
- The Citadel reached the end zone for the second time in the fourth quarter as Peyton Derrick found Ben Brockington for a 29-yard touchdown pass.
- Colby Kintner closed out the scoring with a 28-yard field goal late in the game.
