Ruffin Named to All-SoCon First Team
Ruffin was honored after posting 213 kills, 187 digs, and 21 service aces during conference play. She averaged a .206 hitting percentage and 3.80 kills per set.
 
Bulldogs Head to Conference Tournament
 #7 The Citadel volleyball team will face #2 Samford Bulldogs on Nov. 18 in Greenville, S.C.
 
The Citadel has a 5-7 record in tournament play and is the reigning 2021 Southern Conference Champions.

Ali Ruffin heads into the tournament ranked third in conference match play with 213 kills, averaging 3.80 kills per set.
 
Setter Belle Hogan ranks third in the conference with 483 assists and tied fifth with Ruffin in service aces with 21.
 
Libero Kenzie Kellerman has registered 274 digs in the conference, which ranks second.
 
Scouting Samford
Samford heads into the Southern Conference Championship as the No. 2 seed after posting a 16-12 overall and 11-5 conference record for the 2022 season. Samford ended the regular season with a loss against Wofford, 1-3, on Nov. 11. Outside hitter Kenya McQuirter leads Samford and the SoCon with 230 kills, averaging 4.11 kills per set. Libero Kate Morgan leads the SoCon with 279 digs against conference opponents. In the most recent matchup, The Citadel took a 1-3 defeat against Samford on the road.
