GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Citadel men's and women's track and field teams will be traveling to Greenville, North Carolina, to compete in the Bill Carson Invitational on Apr. 1-2.
Where: Minges Family Field at the Bate Foundation Track and Field Facility (Greenville, N.C.)
Competing Institutions: The Citadel, Virginia Tech, UNCW, Mount Olive, UNC Pembroke
Friday's field events begin at 10 a.m. on April 1. Saturday's track events will start at 8 a.m., followed by field events at 11:30 a.m.

- Sam Sharnas set a personal best at the Weems Baskin Invitational in 3000m run with a time of 8:50.51.
- JP Caglione had two top-ten finishes at Weems Baskin in the hammer throw and shot put.
- Alex Wulfhorst finished in fourth place in the 1500m run with a time of 4:07.40.
- Tucker Young took the ninth spot in the pole vault.
- Reggie Reynolds earned eighth in the hammer throw.
On the Women's Side
- Carisma Holland now sits second all-time behind Hall of Famer Stephen McNeill in the outdoor shot put. Holland tossed 45-03.75 at Weems Baskin to earn herself second place.
- Shannon Ziccarello finished in fourth place in the javelin.
- Heidi Fortin moved up to sixth in the school's all-time record book in the 3000m run with a time of 10:56.11.
