CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel men's and women's track and field teams are set to compete at the USC Indoor Open on Feb. 17.

On the Men's Side
- Andrew Smith broke a thirty-six-year-old record at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Feb. 11 in the 1000m with a time of 2:28.41. The previous record holder Layne Anderson held the record of 2:30.40 set in 1987.
- Sam Sharnas broke his own school record in the 3K with a time of 8:30.15.
- At the JDL Fast Track, Ty Duben finished in second place with a personal record time of 8:55.55.
- Reggie Reynolds earned a top-five finish in the weight throw with a toss of 51-00.25, earning him second.
On the Women's Side
- Gabby Shea finished first with a time of 2:24.59 in the 800m run. Shea moved into sixth all-time.
- Zeniyah Lawrence placed third in the 60m dash with a time of 7.86. She achieved a personal record and moved into the third spot all-time.
- Emily Hickey tied her personal record in the pole vault by clearing 10-11.75.
