Bulldogs Make Short Trip Across County

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - For the second time in eight days, The Citadel and Charleston Southern will meet at Nielsen Field in North Charleston on May 3 at 5 p.m. The contest is the fourth and final meeting between the two teams this season, with each team getting two games on their home field.

The Citadel and Charleston Southern are meeting for the second week in a row and the fourth time overall this season. The Bulldogs hold a 2-1 advantage in the series this season, and a 63-37 advantage all-time.

Last Meeting vs. Charleston Southern
Sawyer Reeves led off the game with a home run, and the Bulldogs scored seven runs in the first two innings on the way to an 11-3 victory on April 25.

Homer In Three-Straight Games
The Citadel hit home runs in each of the two games at NC State, extending their streak to three-straight games with a home run. It is the first time the Bulldogs have homered in three-straight games since doing so in all three games against Mercer during hte 2021 season.

On Deck
The Bulldogs begin the final stretch of the season as they welcome VMI to Riley Park on May 5-7. All three games will begin at 1 p.m.
