How It Happened
- St. Bonaventure tallied the first run of the game in the first inning with a single that scored one.
- A shallow single to center field allowed the Bonnies to record their second run of the game, but a fielding error committed by The Citadel allowed them to score another one to make it 3-0.
- Shortly after, The Bulldogs got on the board with an Anthony Hausner fielder's choice RBI, making it 3-1.
- Hausner tied the ballgame up with a two-run blast to left field that tied the game at 3-3.
- A sac-fly RBI for St. Bonaventure gave them the lead back at 4-3.
- In the seventh inning, the Bulldogs scored five runs and turned the game around. Sawyer Reeves hit a single, and Sykes scored; Travis Lott singled, and Reeves scored;
- Thomas Rollauer scored on a wild pitch, Hausner got an RBI ground out, and Garrett Dill hit a double down the left-field line that scored Javier Crespo.
