Bulldogs Fall in Series Finale

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Citadel fell in seven innings against Wofford in the series finale on Sunday afternoon.

How It Happened
  • Tyler Bak scored the first run of the game for the Terriers with an RBI single that scored one in the bottom of the second.
  • Dixon Black got the Terriers going in the fifth inning with an RBI single, then Wofford scored three more in the bottom of the fifth.
  • Wofford scored another four runs in the bottom of the seventh and one run in the eighth to tie the game at 10-0.

  • The Citadel recorded seven hits on the day.
  • Sawyer Reeves, Travis Elliott, and Wells Sykes recorded doubles.
  • Ben Hutchins (3-2) recorded the loss after pitching 4.2 innings, giving up six hits and three earned runs.
