Baseball Falls in Series Finale

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel baseball team dropped the series finale against the Western Carolina Catamounts on Saturday, 6-2, inside Joe Riley Park

How It Happened
  • Kyle Riesselmann for the Catamounts doubled down the right field line, scoring the game's first run in the top of the fifth inning.
  • Trent Turner followed up Riesselmann with a two-run RBI double to make 3-0.
  • Chase Loggins recorded an RBI single to right field, scoring Travis Lott for the Bulldog's first run of the game.
  • The Citadel scored a run in the bottom of the fifth on a bases-loaded groundout from Thomas Rollauer.
  • The Catamounts tabbed another three-run inning in the sixth, enough to hold off the Bulldogs to win the game at 6-2.
