How It Happened
- The Citadel scored two runs in the top of the third inning with back-to-back bases-loaded walks from Travis Lott and Matthew Lively.
- ETSU responded with three runs in the bottom of the third, thanks to a two-run home run from Cameron Sisneros and an RBI single from Tommy Barth.
- ETSU added four runs in the fourth with two home runs from Noah Webb and a three-run home run from Nick Iannatone.
- Sawyer Reeves hit a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning.
- ETSU recorded six runs in the seventh to end the game at 13-3.
