How It Happened
- Travis Elliott scored the Bulldogs' first run in the bottom of the fourth inning with an RBI ground-rule double to left field, scoring Thomas Rollauer.
- Both teams were held scoreless until the eighth inning, when GC Charman singled up the middle, scoring one for UNCG, tying the game at 1-1.
- UNCG added five more runs with back-to-back triples, scoring four runs and a sac-fly RBI to give the Spartans the 6-1 lead.
- Travis Lott singled to right field, scoring Travis Elliott from second to cut down on the Spartan's lead at 6-2.
