KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Citadel basketball team was one of 361 men's college basketball programs to be recipients of the 2023-24 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Team Academic Excellence Award, as announced by the NABC on Monday afternoon.
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize men's basketball programs from all levels (DI, DII, DIII, NAIA) that completed the 2023-24 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Furthermore,
Winston Hill,
Quentin Millora-Brown, and
Elijah Morgan were selected to the NABC Honors Court.
The NABC Honors Court recognizes junior, senior, and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2023-24 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
"The NABC is proud to celebrate these accomplished student-athletes, along with the coaches and staff who champion success in the classroom," said NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson. "Education is a core value of the NABC, and the teams and athletes who earned these awards are proof that academic achievement remains a priority across every level of our sport."
The NABC is a professional development and advocacy organization serving over 5,000 members in collegiate, scholastic and youth basketball. Since its founding, the NABC has continually worked to further the best interests of the game of basketball, as well as the coaches and players who participate in the sport.
