CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel men's and women's track and field teams are set to compete at the VMI Winter Classic on February 8.

The track events begin at noon, with the women's 5000m and the men's 5000m following at 12:25 p.m. The field events start at 9:30 a.m. with the women's shot put and the men's shot put at noon.

- Bradlee Jones qualified third in the 60m with a personal best 6.79 mark, clinching the second all-time spot within the school record books. Additionally, the sophomore followed up with a 6.70 to win the meet and break the program mark, previously held by Josiah Johnson at 6.76.
- Carson Tillman broke the Stephen Kulick school record with a time of 1:22.10 to finish seventh overall in the 600m as well.
- Emily Pierontoni broke the school record in the 1000m with 2:58.32, winning the event.
