CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel men's and women's track and field teams are set to open up the 2025 outdoor season at the Weems Baskin Invitational.

- Bradlee Jones in the 60m along with Emily Danielsson for the weight throw -- en route to a fifth-place finish for the men's squad and seventh overall for the women's side at the VMI Corps Physical Training Facility.
- Ridge Dowe trailed just behind his teammate in the weight throw, notching third behind a 54-11.50 sling as he collected a new personal record along with the fifth-best position in program history
- Ali Ruffin looks to defend her 2024 SoCon javelin outdoor title. She threw 156-08 (47.77m) to finish first overall and broke her school record. Ruffin joined Mady Riegel as the most recent Bulldog to win the javelin, with Riegel winning in 2016 and 2017.
