CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Due to the expected impact of Hurricane Isaias on the greater Charleston area over the weekend, The Citadel President Gen. Kenneth F. McKenzie, USMC (Ret.), '79 along with ETSU President Dr. Brian Noland have opted to adjust Saturday afternoon's kickoff between the Bulldogs and Buccaneers to 12 p.m. at Johnson Hagood Stadium. The game was originally scheduled for 2 p.m., and the change has received support from the Southern Conference.
The kickoff shift increases the chance the contest concludes prior to anticipated heavier weather arriving in the Lowcountry later Saturday, as well as provides additional flexibility for ETSU return-to-campus travel. The safety of cadet- and student-athletes, fans and staff remains the greatest concern to all three entities.
The game will broadcast digitally via ESPN+, regionally via Nexstar affiliates and via radio on 102.1 FM.
TICKETS
All game tickets purchased for the Saturday, Oct. 10 game remain valid and barcodes will be scanned at the gate. Ticket windows open at 10 a.m. and gates open at 10:30 a.m. Parking lots open at 7 a.m.
