"Credit to Davidson for a hard-fought match that lasted nearly four hours. We had opportunities in doubles but couldn't convert, and that put us behind early," Bulldog head coach
Chuck Kriese said after the match. "They competed well and won five singles matches. I'm proud of the way our guys are battling, and I believe we're good enough technically and tactically to win these matches. Now it's about doing it consistently."
Up Next, The Citadel returns home Tuesday to host Youngstown State in a doubleheader at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the Earle Tennis Center.
