CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel track and field teams opened the outdoor season with seven event victories and multiple strong performances at the Buccaneer Invitational, hosted by Charleston Southern.

"We had a strong opening meet across the board," head coach Kris Kut said. "Our athletes competed well, and we saw a number of performances that set the tone for the outdoor season. We had individuals step up in multiple events, and it was good to see that carryover from indoor. This is a solid foundation to build on as we continue through the season."
