HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Blair Hardin at River Bluff High School…helped Gators to second round of the playoffs as a junior and senior…received the most turnovers belt as a junior…also helped the baseball team to a pair of lower state championships and state runner-up finishes…graduated with honors

PERSONAL: Son of Nathan and Rene Beard…plans to major in business administration.
