CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel volleyball team continues its road swing against Southern Conference opposition this weekend when it heads to the Tar Heel state to take on UNCG and Western Carolina.
 
The Citadel (6-13, 0-4 SoCon) squares off against UNCG on Saturday at 7 p.m. The Bulldogs, led offensively by the trio of Bailey Kernodle (158 kills), Ise d'Angelo (106), and Dominique Williams (106) are looking to parlay a recent three-set victory over Savannah State into success this weekend.
 
UNCG (10-7, 2-2 SoCon) rebounded from a pair of setbacks at Mercer and Furman by sweeping Elon on Tuesday evening. The Spartans are led by Jessica Brezwyn (179 kills), Katherine Santiago (279 digs) and Vicky Harley (61 total blocks).
 
The Bulldogs wrap up the weekend with a 2 p.m. match on Sunday at Western Carolina (7-11, 0-4 SoCon). The Catamounts, who have dropped their last four matches, will be looking to capture their fifth win in Cullowhee against The Citadel since Sept. 14, 2007.
 
WCU's statistical leaders include Caitlin Piechota (195 kills), Elyssa Mulheron (282 digs) and Addy George (41 total blocks).
