CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Citadel volleyball team closes out its non-conference slate on Tuesday when it welcomes in-state foe Claflin to McAlister Field House at 6 p.m.
The Citadel (7-22) is looking to snap a four-match home losing streak that dates back to a 3-0 loss against Samford on Oct. 17.
Leading the way for the Bulldogs statistically are the upperclassmen trio of
Bailey Kernodle (218 kills),
Amanda Rudnik (273 digs) and
Lauren Hurt (19 solo blocks / 61 total blocks).
Claflin (18-11), which competes in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, is in search of its sixth non-conference victory this season. The Panthers are also looking to extend their winning streak to five matches which began against Clark Atlanta University on Oct. 28.
The Claflin lineup is led offensively by Bria Bronston (277 kills), while the defensive standouts include Courtney Person (378 digs) and Brianna Garvin (74 total blocks).
