CHARLESTON, S.C. –The Citadel volleyball team is set to host Southern Conference opponent Furman on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. in McAlister Field House.
The Bulldogs (6-15, 1-4 SoCon) recently fell at home to conference foes Chattanooga on Friday, Sept. 29 and ETSU on Saturday, Sept. 30. Freshman
Sharlissa De Jesus was the lead attacker for the Bulldogs over the weekend with 16 kills, and freshman
McKenzie Boland led the team in assists with 22.
The Furman Paladins (9-7, 3-0) are currently on a three-match winning streak after defeating both ETSU and Chattanooga 3-0 in Greenville, South Carolina, over the weekend.
The Bulldogs fell in their first matchup against Furman in 2016 before securing their first conference victory since 2011 over the Paladins, 3-2 in McAlister Field House on Oct. 16.
