CHARLESTON, S.C. –The Citadel volleyball team welcomes Southern Conference opponent Wofford to McAlister Field House on Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday's match is "Paws for a Cause" where Wofford and The Citadel have teamed up to raise donations for Puerto Rico hurricane relief efforts. All donations will go to UNICEF to directly help Puerto Ricans in need. A donation box will be set up in McAlister Field House during the match, or you can visit

The Citadel (8-19, 2-8 SoCon) went 1-1 in the conference last weekend when they hosted Mercer (7-15, 2-8) and Samford (10-14, 5-5). The Bulldogs attacked fast in Friday's match against the Bears and won 3-2, the Bulldogs' first win over Mercer is program history. The Bulldogs also had a hot start against Samford on Saturday, Oct. 21 but fell 3-1.
The Wofford Terriers are currently 17-8 overall this season and 7-4 in the conference. The last time the Bulldogs faced off against the Terriers in Spartanburg, S.C. on Sept. 27 the Terriers swept the match 3-0.
On Wednesday, the first 50 fans will receive a free slice of pizza courtesy of Papa John's. The match will be broadcast on ESPN3 and live stats will be available at CitadelSports.com.
