CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel baseball will host a three-game series against Stetson beginning Friday at Joe Riley Park.
The Bulldogs (3-8) return home after playing a mid-week game at No. 7 South Carolina on Tuesday where they fell 12-5 to the Gamecocks.
The series with Stetson begins a nine-game home stand in a span of 12 days with mid-week games against Winthrop and Georgia Southern and a four-game series with Dartmouth.
First pitch for Friday is scheduled for 6 p.m., followed by a 2 p.m. start on Saturday and 1 p.m. first pitch on Sunday. Live stats and video will be available at CitadelSports.com.

- Jonathan Sabo led The Citadel offense on Tuesday at South Carolina with three hits, extending his hitting streak to eight games and on-base streak to 11 games.
- The junior transfer leads the team with a .326 batting average, 15 hits, three doubles, seven runs, 18 total bases and a .391 slugging percentage.
- First baseman Ben Peden and outfielder Barrett Charpia each hit their first home runs of the season on Tuesday at South Carolina. Peden drove in his seventh RBI in the fourth, while Charpia brought home two runs with a seventh inning dinger.
