The Bulldogs scored 14 points in the fourth quarter to rally for a 42-31 victory over No. 19 Elon. Bart Blanchard went 22-of-29 for 370 yards and three touchdowns. Andre Roberts was the top target with eight catches for 180 yards, including a 68-yard touchdown reception. Tory Cooper rushed for three touchdowns, including the score that sealed the victory in the fourth quarter.

Freshman Clay Harris made his second career start and ran for a career-high 126 yards and two touchdowns. He did his damage in the second half with 77 yards and both scores in the second half.
Thump-Thump
The punt block unit blocked a pair of punts against Western Carolina. Sean-Thomas Faulkner blocked one and Bradley Carter blocked the second that was scooped up for a touchdown by Dante Smith. The block for Faulkner was his second of the season.
Blocking Punts vs. WCU
The Bulldogs blocked two punts against Western Carolina and has now blocked five punts in the last two games against the Catamounts.
Second-Half Shutout
The Citadel defense posted a shutout in the second half as they limited the Catamounts to just 172 yards of offense. The defense recorded five sacks and forced three turnovers (2 fumbles, 1 interception) to help erase the 14-point deficit.
Forcing Turnovers
The Bulldogs forced three turnovers in the victory over Western Carolina. Willie Eubanks III picked off his second pass of the season in the third quarter and Ronald Peterkin forced a fumble to stop a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Noah Dawkins sealed the deal with a sack fumble.
