Cross Country Competes in NCAA Regionals on Friday

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Citadel will send eight cadet-athletes to compete in the NCAA Southeast Cross Country Regional this Friday at Winthrop University.

For the women, The Citadel will send the duo of Amber Opp and Casey Miller. Over the course of the 2018 season, Opp crossed the finish line first for the Bulldog women in every race this year and placed 31st overall in the SoCon Championships with a time of 19:21.70. Miller was consistently the second Bulldog to cross the line as she took 66th place in the conference with a time of 21:06.59. This will be their second consecutive year attending NCAA Regionals.
