S.C. State Game Information (Wednesday, Sep. 19 – 6 p.m. – Orangeburg, S.C.)
 
CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel volleyball team will travel to Orangeburg, South Carolina for a midweek match against South Carolina State.

S.C. State currently holds an 0-8 record while The Citadel sits at 4-6. Sharlissa De Jesus entered last week ranked 11th in the nation by the NCAA for total points. In the SoCon, she ranks first in: attacks/set, kills/set, points, points/set, aces and total kills. Both teams did not compete last week due to the impacts of Hurricane Florence. 
 
Dave Zelenock on the S.C. State Match Up: "After having a week off, it will be good to get back on the court and see what we look like now that we have rested. S.C. State will provide a good matchup for us before we open up conference play at home this Friday."
