ORANGEBURG, S.C. - The Citadel volleyball team swept South Carolina State in their lone midweek road match.
How it Happened
- The Bulldogs took three straight sets behind 13 kills from Mellanie King, who finished with a hitting percentage of .500.
- Megan Fuhr tallied 32 assists and two service aces. Sophomore, Sharlissa De Jesus finished the match with ten kills, hitting .500.
- On the defensive side of the ball, the Bulldogs tallied six team blocks with Sarah Dobrich leading the charge with four blocking assists.

- "We are happy to come back and get a clean slate against S.C. State because it will give us some confidence heading into the weekend as we open up Southern Conference play. We have some tweaks to make and will focus on that tomorrow at practice."
Up Next
The Bulldogs will open up conference play at home this Friday and Saturday as they take on UNC Greensboro and Western Carolina.
