CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel volleyball team will travel to Savannah, Georgia for a midweek match against Savannah State.

Savannah State comes off an 0-3 finish in the Panther Fest hosted by Florida International University this past weekend. . The Tigers are led by sophomore,
Tyran Chenault who has recorded a team high 21 kills so far on the year to go along with eight blocks. Defensively, Savannah State will look to
Liz Domary Ortiz Munoz who has tallied 51 digs so far.

Last Time Out for The Citadel: The Citadel claimed a victory in the final match of the FAU Invitational against St. Peters University. The team compiled ten blocks to go along with five service aces.
Sharlissa De Jesus led the charge for the Bulldogs recording 22 kills followed by
Mellanie King with 11. De Jesus currently ranks 16th in the nation for kills per set. Sophomore setter
Megan Fuhr set a new personal record over the weekend after tallying 62 assists in the first game against Bethune-Cookman. The Bulldogs would finish 2-1 over the weekend, taking them to 3-3 on the year.
Dave Zelenock on the Savannah State Match Up: "We know we are going to be challenged by Savannah State as they will have a great home crowd. They are athletic and we will need to make sure we execute our game plan and will hopefully come out with a win."
