CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel volleyball team will Chattanooga Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 6 p.m. for the first round of the Southern Conference Tournament.
 
#BATTLEREADY (ABOUT THE CITADEL)
The Bulldogs finished the regular season 10-19 overall and 4-12 in the conference going into their match against the Mocs. This will be there first time in program history The Citadel has hosted a SoCon Tournament match.
 
The 'Dogs will battle for their second ever SoCon Tournament win after capturing the program's first tournament win last season against Western Carolina.
 
Head coach Dave Zelenock and the Bulldogs closed out the regular season, matching the program's overall win record with 12.

THE CITADEL VS CHATTANOOGA (THE HISTORY)
This Tuesday's match will be the third meeting between the Bulldogs and the Mocs this season.
 
The Citadel took match one against Chattanooga in McAlister Field House, 3-2. Chattanooga bounced back from an early season loss to win their first conference match of the season against the Bulldogs, 3-2.
 
SCOUTING THE MOCS
The Mocs of Chattanooga are 7-22 overall with a 2-14 conference record. Chattanooga snagged their two conference victories in their last two conference matches of the regular season against The Citadel and Wofford.
 
Chattanooga's Dani Szczepanski ranks fourth in the conference for hitting percentage, registering .309. She's aided by setter Maddie Halsey, who puts up 9.36 assists per set, good for eighth in the conference. On the Defensive side, the Mocs are led by libero Megan Kaufman, averaging 3.97 digs per set.
