MACON, Ga. – The Citadel women's soccer team hits the road for a match at Mercer on Oct. 15. The match is set to begin at 6 p.m.
Friday Success
The Bulldogs have enjoyed success on Friday's this season as the Bulldogs are 4-0 in their previous four matches played on Friday. The Citadel is yet to allow a goal in a Friday match, and are outscoring their opponents 15-0. The Bulldogs are 3-0 in Southern Conference matches on Friday's, each by a 2-0 score.
Geller Nets Pair
Jordyn Geller added her name to the list of Bulldogs to score two goals in a match when she scored a pair of goals in the 2-0 victory over VMI. She is the sixth different Bulldog to score twice in a game, joining

Series With Mercer
The Bulldogs are 1-8-1 all-time against the Bears. The two teams met three times during the 2020-21 season. The two teams tied in Charleston on Sept. 17, 2020, before the Bulldogs won 3-2 in Macon on Oct. 9, 2020. Mercer won the SoCon matchup in the spring, 2-1 in overtime.
Scouting Mercer
Mercer enters the contest with an overall record of 5-4-4, and a 2-1-3 mark in conference action. The Bears are coming off a pair of ties at UNCG and VMI last weekend. Ally Fordham leads the offense with seven goals, while Lana Whitfield has three goals and a team-high three assists. Jordyn Ebert has played all 1,250 minutes in goal, making 53 saves and allowing 11 goals.
