CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel volleyball team will head to Spartanburg, South Carolina on Oct. 27 to face Furman and begin a run of four road-matches. First serve is set for 6 p.m. and will be aired on ESPN+.
The Bulldogs are currently 9-7 overall and have a 5-5 conference record.
Split Weekend at Home
The Citadel went 1-1 last weekend after defeating Samford in four for only the third time in the series, and a loss to conference-leading Mercer.
Gina Delancey and
Kenzie Kellerman helped pave the way to the Bulldog win. Delancey recorded five block assists and six kills and Kellerman matched her season-high of 26 digs.
Scouting Wofford
The Terriers enter the match with an overall record of 12-11 and are 6-5 in conference play. Wofford is led by Meghan Yaffa who has recorded 199 kills this season, averaging 2.62 kills per set. Addison Foote leads the defense with 188 digs, closely followed by Kennedy Smith at 183. The Terriers are 8-2 on their home court, Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium.
