GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Citadel's 2021 season came to a heartbreaking end Friday night as Furman scored in overtime to defeat the Bulldogs 2-1 in the quarterfinals of the Southern Conference Tournament.

62' – The Paladins got on the board as Kyndal Anderson scored off a cross from Isabella Gutierrez.
70' – The Bulldogs tied the game in the 70^th minute as Ryleigh Jenkins stole the ball and fed Jordan Geller outside the top of the box. Geller took a couple dribbles and beat the goalie into the top right corner.
