CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel volleyball team wraps up its home stand as the Bulldogs welcome Furman to McAlister Field House on Oct. 6. First serve is set for 6 p.m. and will be aired on ESPN+.
The Bulldogs enter the week with an overall record of 6-5, and a 2-3 mark in conference action.
Hogan Brings Home SoCon Honor
Setter
Belle Hogan has proven valuable to the offensive attack in the start of her career with 354 assists, 108 digs, and 20 kills. Hogan is the reigning Southern Conference Setter of the Week after recording 111 assists, 33 digs, five block assists, four kills and two service aces in three matches last week.
Four Straight Against Chattanooga
The Citadel swept Chattanooga on Saturday night for its fourth-straight victory over the Mocs. It marks the first time in program history the Bulldogs have won four-straight matches against a SoCon opponent.
Scouting Furman
The Paladins enter the match with an overall record of 6-7, and a 1-2 mark in conference play. Furman is 3-0 in true road matches this season. The offense is led by Bella Tolone, who is averaging 3.18 kills per set. Libero Andrea Aceveda is averaging 4.28 digs per set.
