CHARLESTON, S.C. – For the third-straight season, The Citadel football team suffered a one-point setback to No. 18 Chattanooga, falling 25-24 in overtime Saturday afternoon inside Johnson Hagood Stadium.

How It Happened
- The Mocs struck on the first play of the game for a 75-yard touchdown pass from Drayton Arnold to Juwan Tyus.
- UTC doubled the lead later in the first quarter on a six-yard touchdown run from Tyrell Price.
- The Bulldogs got on the board late in the first half as Jaylan Adams capped a 14-play drive with a three-yard touchdown run.
- UTC closed the half with a 33-yard field goal from Skylar Wilson.
- After both teams failed to score in the third quarter, The Citadel struck early in the fourth quarter with a 46-yard field goal from Colby Kintner.
- The Bulldog offense put together one final drive late in the game to tie the score. The 16-play drive ended when Adams found Raleigh Webb in the end zone for an 11-yard touchdown.
- The Citadel opened the overtime period with a nine-play drive that ended when Adams scored from two-yards out.
