CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel volleyball squad will finally return to the friendly confines of McAlister Field House for a two-match set with Southern Conference foe Chattanooga on Sunday at 3 p.m. and Monday at 5 p.m.
Sunday's 3 p.m. tilt against the Mocs will double as the Roper St. Francis Healthcare Care Match for the Bulldogs, who will be playing at home for the first time since Feb. 8 against Furman.
In The Citadel's most recent match,
Sharlissa de Jesus eclipsed a program milestone, becoming just the fifth player in program history with both 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in a career. She and the rest of the squad will be looking to snap the Bulldogs' six-match losing skid.
Chattanooga enters Sunday's match with a 5-7 record overall and is 3-7 in SoCon play. In their last time out, the Mocs dropped a pair of identical 3-1 decisions against Mercer last week.
Following this weekend's matches, The Citadel will return to the court next week at ETSU, squaring off against the Bucs on March 14 at 3 p.m. and March 15 at 5 p.m. in Johnson City.
