CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel women's soccer team suffered its first loss of the season as the Bulldogs fell, 1-0, to Georgia Southern Tuesday afternoon at WLI Field.

How it Happened

66' – Georgia Southern scored the only goal of the match after Megan Przybysz headed a ball past the keeper off the corner from Nora Falnes.

Defense was the name of the game as neither offense was able to create much offense throughout the match.
Both teams did have some chances, but nothing was able to find the back of the net.
The Citadel had a big chance late in the first half as Leanne Bryant ripped a shot that was knocked away by the keeper.
