CHARLESTON, S.C – The Citadel volleyball team returns to McAlister Field House for three matches this week. The Bulldogs start the week with a 6 p.m. match against Wofford on Wednesday. The home stand continues with a match against Chattanooga on Oct. 7 at 7 p.m., and a match against ETSU on Oct. 3 at 1 p.m. All three matches will be streamed on ESPN+.
 
Last Week
The Bulldogs opened conference play last weekend with a pair of road matches. Sharlissa de Jesus led the offense with 22 kills in the two matches. Ali Ruffin added nine kills.
 
Scouting Wofford
The Terriers have started their season with a 7-8 overall record and 1-2 in conference play. They are led offensively by Meghan Yaffa's 151 kills, followed by Sarah Barham at 117 kills. Emily Hodsdon has 511 assists and leads the SoCon in service aces (24).
 
Scouting Chattanooga
Chattanooga's season has begun with a 4-11 overall record and 0-2 in conference. The Mocs offense is led by 177 kills from Maia Rackel. Defensively, Paige Gallentine leads the way with 245 digs. The Citadel is looking to continue their three-match win streak over the Mocs.
 
Scouting ETSU
ETSU enters the week with a 4-9 overall record and 0-2 in conference. Josannah Vazquez leads the Bucs with 153 kills. Sara Esposito is second with 118 kills, followed closely by Jenna Forster with 115. Last season, the Bulldogs claimed their first ever victory over the Bucs in their most recent match-up.

The Bulldogs close out their four match home stand as they welcome Furman to McAlister Field House on Oct. 6. First serve is set for 6 p.m. and the match will be streamed live on ESPN+.
