Strong Performances Highlight Day 1 at USC Invitational

COLUMBIA, S.C.- The Bulldogs had three Top-10 finishes on Friday from Reggie Reynolds, Prince Howard-Whitaker and Carisma Holland on Day 1 of the South Carolina Invitational at South Carolina Indoor Track and Field Complex.

Men's Results

Junior Reggie Reynolds threw his personal best of 52-06.50 to finish 2nd in the men's weight throw. He is now tied for 7th all-time for indoor men's weight throw with Matt Earls.
Prince Howard-Whitaker finished 9th in the shot put. He threw 46-04 in the shot.
Treonte Newton competed in the men's 300m dash. His time of 36.49 puts him 8th on the school's all-time list.

Women's Results

In her first meet as a Bulldog, Carisma Holland tossed 45-10.75 to finish 2^nd in the women's shot put. She is now 2^nd all-time with her toss. Also, she is now 9th all-time in the weight throw with 45-2.25.
Emily Hickey tied her personal best in the women's pole vault with 10-6, which is still 3rd all-time.
In her first meet as a Bulldog, Tatiana Corso tossed 38-8.25, placing her 6th all-time in women's shot put.
Sophomore Leah Murray ran a 43.18 in the 300m dash. Her time puts her at 5th all-time.
