The Bulldogs Sweep Furman
The Citadel defeated Furman on Oct. 19 in straight sets to go 2-0 against Furman during the regular season. The Citadel is on a four-game winning streak against the Paladins.

Kenzie Kellerman sits at third all-time in program history with career digs behind
Sharlissa de Jesus (1,439) and Rachel Sanders (1,450). She registered 26 digs against the Paladins, adding to her career total of 1,418.
Hogan Repeats as SoCon Setter of the Week
Belle Hogan goes back-to-back weeks as the Southern Conference Setter of the Week. In a straight-set victory against Furman, Hogan posted 35 assists, nine digs, four service aces, and three kills against the Paladins. She averaged 11.67 assists per set.
Scouting UNCG
The Spartans have an overall record of 9-14 and 3-7 in conference play. UNCG comes into the match with a road five-set victory over Mercer. Outside hitter Taylor Robertson leads the Spartans with 231 kills. Libero Ella Voegele holds down the Spartans' defense with 342 digs. The Citadel lost to UNCG in four sets at McAlister Field House on Oct. 3.
Scouting Western Carolina
The Catamounts are 14-8 and 7-3 in conference play for the 2022 season. Western Carolina currently sits in third place in the conference standings. Last weekend, Western Carolina split matches against Mercer (3-0) and Samford (1-3). Merry Gebel leads the Catamounts offense with 267 kills, and libero Destinee Dorsey leads the defense with 308 digs. In their recent matchup, The Citadel lost in a 3-1 match against the Catamounts on Oct.2.
