CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel basketball team welcomed Mars Hill for an exhibition Sunday evening, finishing on the strong end of a 93-73 contest. The event was the first opportunity for many fans to see the Bulldogs as they embark on the 2022-23 season led by head coach Ed Conroy, which begins Monday, Nov. 7 at Clemson.

"Thank you everyone for coming out to the first of many more exciting matchups we have planned this year in McAlister Field House," said Coach Conroy. "We hoped we showcased the kind of energy, determination, and teamwork it takes to win at this level, and it showed in the end result. Our guys were excited to get out there today and play one for our fans, and now it's on us to get better each time out. Thank you again. C-I! T-A! D-E-L!"
