Track and Field Completes Day One at Weems Baskin

COLUMBIA, S.C – The Bulldogs wrap up day one at the Weems Baskins Invitational with multiple top-ten finishes.

Day One Results

Men's Results

JP Caglione finished in the top spot in the hammer throw with a toss of 170-10.
The men's 4x300 meter relay team of Treonte Newton, Jeremy Walker, Luke Segee, and Jaylan Adams finished third with a time of 2:28.93.
Reggie Reynolds tossed 141-3 in the hammer throw to earn him eighth.
Tucker Young placed ninth in the pole vault by clearing 12-00.75.

Women's Results

Shannon Ziccarello earned fourth in the javelin throw with a toss of 95-09.
The women's 4x300 meter relay team of Mecca Jackson, Jay Mitchell, Leah Murray, and Cyla Byrd took the second spot with a time of 2:55.81.
The women's 4x800 meter relay team of Gabby Shea, Amber Opp, Reanna Wrecsics, and Claire Thomas finished in fourth place with a time of 11:05.33.
Mya Dollard took eighth overall with a throw of 85-01 in the javelin.

The Bulldogs will compete on day two of the Weems Baskin Invitational at the University of South Carolina.
