CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel volleyball team will travel to Furman to open conference play on Sept 20. First serve is set for 7 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 7-6 overall record.
 
Ruffin Keeps Pushing
Ruffin was tabbed Southern Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 12-18. She was named Tournament MVP after the Fairfield Inn and Suites Dunn Campbell Invitational. Ruffin has recorded 205 kills and 177 digs on the season. 
 
Scouting Furman
The Paladins enter the match with a 4-6 overall record. They are currently being led by outsider hitter Ava Augustson with 107 kills and libero Andrea Aceveda with 107 digs. The Bulldogs have swept Furman in their two most recent match-ups.

The Citadel will enter their bye week and not return to action until Sept. 30. The Bulldogs will welcome Western Carolina to McAlister Field House with first serve set for 6 p.m. The match will be streamed on ESPN+.
