CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel volleyball is closing the regular season out inside McAlister Field House against ETSU on November 10 at 1:00 p.m. and Furman on November 11 at 7:00 p.m. for senior night.

Regular Season Champions
The Citadel clinched a co-share of the 2023 Southern Conference regular season title with a 3-0 victory over UNCG this past Saturday. The Bulldogs will have an outright of the regular season title with a win against ETSU or Furman or a Mercer loss.
Hogan and Ruffin Repeat as SoCon Players of the Month
The conference office honored
Belle Hogan and
Ali Ruffin as the October Players of the Month. Ruffin recorded 181 kills, averaging 4.89 per set. Ruffin posted six 20-plus kill matches while recording eight double-doubles.
Hogan posted 421 assists, averaging 11.38 assists per set. Hogan recorded one 60-assist match against Mercer and followed up with four 50-assist matches.
Senior Night Against Furman

Maddy Cardenas against Furman on Nov. 11.
Scouting ETSU
The Bucs are 5-20 overall and 5-9 in conference play. ETSU dropped their previous two matches against Samford and Mercer last weekend. Brianna Cantrell leads the Bucs with 251 kills, averaging 2.73 per set. Malgorzata Anderson anchors the defense for the Bucs with 277 digs. The Citadel swept ETSU in straight sets on Oct. 14.
Scouting Furman
The Paladins have a 16-9 overall and 7-7 conference record. Furman is on a 3-match losing streak with losses against Wofford, Mercer, and Chattanooga. Mary Beth Headley leads the Paladins with 237 kills, averaging 3.04 per set. Kennedy Seekford leads the defense with 437 digs. The Bulldogs had a dramatic comeback against Furman earlier in the season, returning from 0-2 to win in five sets.
