Ruffin Selected Preseason All-SoCon
Junior outside hitter Ali Ruffin was selected to the 2023 preseason All-Southern Conference team in a vote by the league's head coaches.
 
The Citadel Picked Sixth in the Preseason Poll
The Bulldogs were chosen sixth in the Southern Conference preseason polls for the 2023 season.
 
Bulldogs Welcome Four Newcomers
The Bulldogs welcome graduate transfer Mackenzie Martin from Tulane and three freshmen: Angelina Sayles, Peri Hoshock, and Mia Watson.
 
Scouting Marshall
Marshall is coming off the 2022 season 10-20 overall and a 3-13 Conference USA record. Outside hitter Lydia Montague returns for the Thundering Herd. She was tied for second on the team with 274 kills. Brynn Brown led the team defensively with 246 digs. This is the first-ever matchup in both program's history.
 
Scouting Bethune-Cookman
Bethune-Cookman had a 9-21 overall and 8-8 SWAC conference record. Outside hitter Jasmine Moore returns for the Wildcats; she led the team with 262 kills. On the defensive side, Adriana Marrero led the team with 300 digs. The Bulldogs are on a five-match winning streak against Bethune-Cookman, with the last victory in 2021.
