Volleyball Returns Home
The Citadel returns to McAlister Field house after playing eleven straight games on the road.
 
Bulldogs on Fire
The Citadel volleyball team is 14-0 overall and 2-0 in conference play after dominating performances over the weekend against Chattanooga 3-1 and Samford 3-0. The Bulldogs are just one of four programs left in the country that remain undefeated with Arizona State, Nebraska, and Wisconsin.
 
Ruffin and Hogan named SoCon Players of the Week
Ali Ruffin was named the Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season after posting 40 kills on a .248 attack percentage, averaging 5.71 kills per set. Defensively, she posted 26 digs, averaging 3.71 digs per set.
 
Belle Hogan was named the Setter of the Week as she recorded 93 assists, averaging 13.29 assists per set. Hogan recorded a season-high 56 assists against Chattanooga and 22 digs. Against Samford, she posted 37 assists and ten digs.
 
Scouting Western Carolina
The Catamounts are 4-9 overall and 1-1 in conference play, with a win against ETSU and a loss against Furman. Ali Morris leads the team with 143 kills on 2.98 kills per set. Also, she leads the team with 146 digs and 16.0 total blocks. Western Carolina holds a 36-10 advantage over the Bulldogs and won their last match 3-0.
