SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Citadel dropped both games in the doubleheader against Wofford, 19-3 and 6-3, on Saturday afternoon to begin SoCon play.

Game One
How It Happened
- Wofford scored two in the first inning with an RBI triple from Dixon Black and an RBI single from Andrew Mannelly.
- The Citadel scored three in the top of the second inning, and Anthony Hausner scored with a Travis Elliott double down the left-field line.
- Wells Sykes ripped a single through the left side, scoring Elliott to tie the game at 2-2.
- Sawyer Reeves doubled to right center to give The Citadel the lead at 3-2.
- Wofford hit one home run in the bottom of the second inning and two in the third.
- The Terriers scored nine runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to extend their lead to 15-3 and then scored four more in the sixth inning to make it 19-3.

- Javier Crespo got The Citadel on the board by scoring on a wild pitch from Wofford.
- Thomas Rollauer tripled down the right-field line, scoring Sawyer Reeves, then Rollauer scored on an errant throwing by Wofford's center fielder, giving The Citadel the 3-1 lead in the top of the third inning.
- Wofford answered back at the bottom of the fourth inning to tie the game at 3-3 with a bases-loaded walk, and Marshall Toole laid down a bunt that went past the pitcher to score a run for the Terriers to make it 4-3.
- The Terriers scored in the sixth inning from a two-run home run from Dixon Black and a sac-fly RBI from Tyler Bak to give them the 6-3 lead.
